Author Tony Weaver, Jr. Visits Trevor's Middle School

Through Trevor’s Visiting Authors Program, award-winning writer and educator Tony Weaver, Jr. visited the Middle School last month. Tony's middle grade graphic novel, Weirdo, was named a Best Book of the Year by the New York Public Library and is an unforgettable adventure of self-acceptance and finding your place in the world. It was read by every Trevor Middle Schooler this past summer in advance of Tony’s visit which included an assembly presentation, a small-group writers workshop, and a special book signing in our library. Sincere thanks to Tony Weaver, Jr. for sharing his time, talents, and messages with our students!
