Charitable giving at independent schools is taking on even greater importance as it provides critical support for schools to remain agile, proactive, and innovative. Through various friend-raising and fund-raising opportunities, Trevor seeks to meet short-term needs and long-term goals that will position our students for greater success, and advance the school’s unique strengths.

These are the three major avenues for giving in our community:

Annual Giving

The Trevor Fund is our school’s annual giving program. It provides financial resources to respond to budgetary priorities—including teacher salaries, tuition assistance, campus enhancements, and academic programming.

Benefit

The Trevor community comes out in its finest for the Parents Association Auction Gala, an elegant evening of festivity and fundraising. Exquisite dining, silent and live auctions, and a paddle raise are just some elements of this annual spring benefit that raises money to offset the cost of many free school-wide events and special projects. Donations for the benefit’s auctions are wide ranging, including restaurant certificates, unique experiences, sports tickets, backstage passes, vacation homes, and much more.

Campaign

Periodically, we undertake a strategic planning process to develop a set of priority goals that define our school’s direction for the immediate future and unites us as a community. A fundraising campaign raises awareness and support of those goals, with the intention of enlisting financial resources for those priorities within a specified timeframe. New construction, renovation projects, and restricted gifts to endowments all benefit from capital campaigns, major gifts, and planned gifts.
