• Cash Contributions

  To give online using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, please visit our secure online payment site. If you prefer to make a gift by check, please make it payable to Trevor Day School and send to:

  To ensure that your gift qualifies for a calendar-year tax deduction, please postmark your envelope by December 31st. To ensure your Trevor Fund gift is counted for the current academic year, please make your contribution by June 30th.

• Gifts of Securities

  Gifts of appreciated securities can enable a donor to deduct the full value of a gift, without incurring capital gains. If you are considering making a gift of appreciated securities, please note that in order to preserve your tax advantage, you should transfer the shares directly to Trevor, rather than selling them yourself. Prior to making any gift of securities, we recommend that you consult your tax advisor.

   

  To ensure that your gift is properly credited, please contact the Development Office at development@trevor.org, to provide the name and number of shares you plan to transfer and when it will take place. Please also specify the purpose of your gift (i.e., the Trevor Fund, Senior Gift, or other). To transfer securities, please provide your broker with the following information:

• Donor-Advised Funds

  To make a gift through a donor-advised fund, select “Trevor Day School” (Tax ID/EIN of 13-1635261) as the recipient for all gifts to Trevor. Please make sure to specify the gift designation.

• Wire Transfers

  Please contact development@trevor.org for instructions on how to make a gift by wire transfer.

• Matching Gifts

  Many employers will match charitable gifts, enabling your contribution to make an even greater impact. If your company has a matching gift program, please contact the Development Office at development@trevor.org or send the form to:

• Planned Giving

  A Planned Gift is a decision to make a future gift, often specified in one’s estate plan. It can take the form of any traditional gift (such as cash or securities) and can be directed toward any Trevor program or initiative.
   
  For this reason, Planned Giving is often incorporated into one’s overall wealth management strategy, and included when creating one’s Will & Testament with personal Estate Planning.
