All About the Trevor Fund

Every year, the Trevor Day School community demonstrates a strong tradition of giving by supporting the Trevor Fund. The Trevor Fund closes the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student, so everything you value about Trevor is made possible, in part, by the Trevor Fund. 

All community members, including parents, grandparents, Trustees, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, and staff are asked to participate. Gifts reinforce an inspiring educational journey that prepares Trevor students to succeed in an ever-evolving world. They provide financial resources to immediately respond to budgetary priorities. 

With gifts ranging from $5 to $75,000+, the generosity of the entire Trevor community enables us to reach our goals. Unlike tuition, your gift to the Trevor Fund is a charitable contribution and is 100% tax deductible.

What Your Gift Supports

  • Beyond-the-classroom experiences including athletics, performing arts, service learning, and a soon to be launched speaker series. 

  • Development of signature curriculum programs, such as environmental studies, health & wellness, and global studies. 

  • Faculty professional development with expanded training this year regarding computer science, technology, and artificial intelligence. 

  • Physical enhancements across both campuses. Projects this year include new furniture and design of common spaces on the East Campus, and upgrades to the West Campus gymnasium. 

  • Tuition Assistance utilized by 23% of students. 

  • Unexpected needs and opportunities that arise throughout the year.

Senior Gift

Falling under the auspices of the Trevor Fund, the Senior Gift is the means through which Trevor seniors and parents leave a legacy for the school. Together, students of the senior class choose the initiative that they want their class gift to support–ranging from tuition assistance to professional development for our faculty and staff. The seniors hold fundraisers throughout the year and make their own contributions with a goal of 100% participation.

Parents of seniors are asked to support the initiative by making their own contributions to the Senior Gift in honor of their graduates. The funds raised by seniors and their parents are presented to the Head of School at the senior celebration in June.
